It's Time for a Transphobia Definition

In January 2023, LGBT+ Labour launched its first national priority campaign of the year, calling the UK Labour Party to adopt a definition of transphobia and a zero tolerance policy for discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression to ensure the Labour Party is a welcoming and safe space for the movement's trans+ members. 

Cementing the definition will be an important step in rooting out transphobia within the Labour Party and sending a clear signal that transphobia will not be tolerated, as well as begin to repair the damage done between the Labour Party and the trans community.
