As we all know, Pride is political and this year we are holding a pre-pride social to explore the fascinating LGBT+ history in Manchester. This is an opportunity to meet other members ahead of pride and have fun while learning a bit more about the history of LGBT+ rights and history in the North West.
The walking tour will meet on Sunday 20th August (the weekend before pride) at Sackville Gardens in Manchester near Canal Street and tickets must be bought in advance so that we know how many guides we may require.
The cost of the tour is £10 pp, all of which goes to our fantastic tour guide. We will also be doing donation tickets, for an extra £5 for those of you who would like to donate to our Chris Smith List which supports LGBT+ Labour candidates across the country.
