As the 2020 London Mayoral and Assembly elections gets full into swing, LGBT+ Labour London and the South East, with Vauxhall Labour, are donning our best sequin dresses and highest heels for a big bash on 27 February in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
We'll be raising money for the London 2020 elections: Half of which will go to our Chris Smith List, supporting LGBT+ candidates, and the other half will go to Vauxhall Labour for their campaigning to get Sadiq Khan re-elected.
Even Sadiq himself can’t resist such a fabulous party and will be joining us on the night!
Sadiq will joined by fierce line up of artists, including:
Divina De Campo – Star of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK and all-round queer icon. Divina Stormed her way to the final of RPDR UK with her charisma, uniqueness, nerve & talent and we can’t wait to see ourselves, so come out for this Labour Queen! You can check out her album Decoded here to get you in the mood.
Jordan Charles – singer, choir director and a judge on the BBC show All Together Now. Jordan Charles broke through with incredible performances on Let it Shine in 2017 proving, in his own words, that “black boys can be princesses, too”. Can I get an Amen up in here?
Mark Anthony – award-winning Drag king and winner of Mr Burlesque 2019, Mark describes himself as the original "Rhinestone King". We stan a king who knows his worth.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £15 in advance or £20 on the door. Tickets for the wider public will open in a few days so get yours quick,
Its been a tough year for Labour, but we can lead the fightback against the Tories by helping to get Sadiq re-elected! So, on a cold February night come join us at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and in the words of the Saturdays “Whatever the weather, we gonna be better together”!
