We marched for the alternative
On Saturday 6th March LGBT Labour joined 500,000 other people from across the UK to join the TUC's march for the alternative to protest against the Government's severe cuts to public services and jobs.
There was a great turnout on the day from trades unions, students groups, community groups, local Labour parties and people from across the country.
James Asser, Co-chair of LGBT Labour said: "It was great to see so many people out supporting the march and campaigning for an alternative approach. We have already started to see the effects of these cuts on provision of HIV services and support. There is a real risk to services that many people rely on and that the most vulnerable will be hit hardest."
