15th February 2014: Milton Keynes South LGBT Labour Campaign Day with Andrew Pakes

Milton Keynes South is one of Labour's top target seats for 2015 and a faces important all out local elections on 22 May alongside the European elections.

Our candidate in Milton Keynes is LGBT Labour campaigner Andrew Pakes who is leading a spirited fight against the Tories. Andrew Pakes grew up in Milton Keynes and is seeking to become the first ever 'local' candidate to represent the city.

Andrew is a long-standing LGBT campaigner: joining our annual Pride march; campaigning for an equal age of consent as NUS President; and campaigning for a pardon for codebreaker Alan Turing, who worked at Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes.

The Campaign Day will begin at 11am from The Labour Hall, 112 Newport Road, New Bradwell, MK13 0AA. Lunch provided.

The nearest station is Milton Keynes Central. This is a short 35 minutes from London Euston (some colleagues are getting the 9:46 train from Euston if you'd like to join us look out for our LGBT Labour flags on the concourse.
