LGBT Labour North West
LGBT Labour has an active North West network. The group is responsible for carrying out the work of LGBT Labour in the North West. This includes organising events, campainging activity and working with the Labour party, trades unions, community groups and LGBT community in the region.
The area covered by the North West group is: Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and South Cumbria (Barrow & Furness and Westmorland & Lonsdale constituencies).
LGBT Labour North West Committee
The North West group is organised by a committee based in the region elected at it's own AGM at the start of every year. The co-chairs represents the region on the national committee.
LGBT Labour North West is campainging to ensure LGBT issues are prominent in local elections in 2011 and we help to secure success for Labour in the 2011 local elections and help campaing for LGBT candidates.
We aim to increase the North West membership and improve participation of members, especially amongst women.
