International LGBT Rights: An Agenda for Government

International LGBT Rights: An Agenda for Government
Across the world it is illegal to be LGBT in over 70 countries, with five (and parts of two) where it is punishable by death. We have achieved great successes in this country, and although there is much more to do here in the UK to make lives better for LGBT people, attention must be given to LGBT people internationally.
Join LGBT Labour, Kaleidoscope and other excellent speakers to discuss what the next Government must do to help LGBT globally.
Jim Murphy MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development
Seb Dance, MEP
Kerry McCarthy MP, Shadow Foreign Office Minister
Cllr Bev Craig, Co-Chair, LGBT Labour
Chair: Purna Sen, Labour Candidate for Brighton Pavilion and Trustee of the Kaleidoscope Trust
The Kaleidoscope Trust is a UK based charity working to uphold the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people internationally.  We believe that the rights of all people should be respected equally, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
