On Saturday 11 March we'll be hitting the campaign trail in Lancashire again, where we'll be joined by Lancaster and Fleetwood Labour MP and LGBT Labour Patron Cat Smith. Our focus will be on two divisions in Lancaster. Both are marginal, and Labour will need to win both if we are to remain the largest party on Lancashire City Council in May's elections.
For the morning campaign session, we'll be meeting at 11am at Gregson Centre, 33 Moorgate, Lancaster LA1 3PY. If you've never been door-knocking before, don't worry as the local Labour team will be running first-time canvasser training at the Gregson Centre at 10am, plus you'll be buddied up with an experienced canvasser once we hit the doorstep.
We'll return to the Gregson Centre for lunch at 1.15pm, and then the afternoon session will start at 2.30pm, meeting at The Park Hotel, 1 St Oswald Street, Lancaster LA1 3AS.
If you are travelling on public transport, the easiest way to get to Lancaster is on the train - Cat and her team can then arrange lifts from Lancaster station to the venue (which is also about 15 minutes' walk from the station). Therefore please RSVP to let us know you are coming, and if you need a lift.
See you on 11 March as we fight to #KeepLancsRed!
