Pride season 2017 gets underway in the North West on Saturday 8 April with the first-ever Bury Pride! There will be a carnival-themed Walking Rainbow parade through the centre of Bury, led by Bury's LGBT and Labour Mayor Cllr Mike Connolly and his consort Ian Hargreaves. The parade will start at 10.30am from the Town Hall main entrance on Knowsley Street, going down Silver Street and through the town centre to return and finish at the Main Entrance to the Elizabethan Suite.
LGBT Labour will be there, marching in the parade alongside Bury Labour, and holding a joint stall in the Elizabethan Suite.
Look forward to seeing you there - let's help make Bury's first-ever Pride a great one!
